A Career Enhancing Human Performance: Special Seminar

Prof John Brewer who is doing a lecture on Monday night about Doping in Sport (I believe the refreshments afterwards include wine!) has generously agreed to also run a special seminar/discussion session on careers in sport science.

Prof Brewer was the first sport scientist to work with the English FA and has worked with organisations such as English cricket and the London marathon, he has worked for GSK who produce Lucozade Sport and is also currently a non-executive director of UK Doping.

As Prof Brewer has worked in professional sport it is anticipated this session to be of interest to both science and medical students as he will have interacted with a wide range of professions during his career supporting athletes.
